Our Mission

Jackie's PURRfect Match is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit corporation founded in 1996. We are a small group of dedicated cat-lovers working under the guidance of Jackie Haffke, who has been involved in cat rescue since 1986.

Our group is dedicated to reducing the number of cats and kittens suffering on the streets with a combination of rescue and spay/neuter programs. We rescue as many kittens and mother cat families as possible from the streets during "kitten season". Year round, we conduct TNR, provide spay/neuter resources for underserved communities and provide ongoing support for community cats.

Our goal is to find the perfect match of cat and responsible owner to ensure that these wonderful pets live a full, safe and healthy life. We want every match to be PURRfect, so we take the time to observe each cat in a home environment before offering them for adoption. We know if a cat gets along well with other cats or dogs; we know if a cat prefers to be an "only" cat; we know if a cat would be good with children or better with adults only. We want to help you find the right cat for your family!
